The Bulgarian Monasteries have 13 centuries of history. During its course they have cherished the Bulgarian language, culture and identity and have become the symbol of all Bulgarian.
   Day 1 Arrival at Sofia Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Dinner and overnight.
   Day 2 Breakfast. City tour. Leisure time. Dinner and overnight.
   Day 3 Breakfast. Drive to the Rila Monastery. Lunch. Continue to Sandanski. Accommodation. Dinner and overnight.
   Day 4 Breakfast. Excursion to the Rozhen Monastery and the Museum Town of Melnik. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Borovetz. Accommodation. Dinner and overnight.
   Day 5 Breakfast. Drive to Plovdiv. Visit to the Bachkovo Monastery. Lunch. In the afternoon, a short sightseeing walking tour around the old part of the town, followed by a dinner in a typical local restaurant. Overnight.
   Day 6 Breakfast. The tour continues on to Veliko Turnovo via the Ethnographic Museum - Etara and the Dryanovo Monastery. Lunch en route. Accommodation. A sightseeing tour of the medieval Bulgarian capital and dinner.
   Day 7 Breakfast. Drive on to Koprivshtirza. On the way visit to the Troyan Monastery and lunch. Accommodation in a house built in old-time Bulgarian style. Sightseeing tour, dinner and overnight.
   Day 8 Breakfast. Drive to Sofia via Etropole Monastery. Lunch in Pravetz. Accommodation. Overnight.
   Day 9 After breakfast, sightseeing tour, lunch on Vitosha Mountain, dinner and overnight.
   Day 10 Departure.
